Daniel recently graduated from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where he pursued a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management. He specialized in industrial production, entrepreneurship and innovation management. During his studies, he was involved in both, academia and industry. At KIT, he supported the chair of financial economics and risk management, where he developed and established novel, innovative learning concepts for computational risk and asset management. In the industrial world, he has gained practical experience through several internships at renowned global players in the automotive sector such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW. Within the scope of these internships, Daniel covered a wide range of industrial supply chain processes with positions in research and development, production, quality management as well as sales and distribution. At Mercedes-Benz USA, he transformed an analogue pre-delivery process into a digital application, which is now set to be rolled out across all US dealers. Finally, he was able to develop a versatile skill set through experiences at the German “Mittelstand” at ARKU Maschinenbau GmbH, the start-up world at the German Start-Up Accelerator and management consulting at MHP.

Besides his professional interests, Daniel loves to be in the outdoors, where he enjoys everything that involves adrenaline such as skiing, downhill mountain-biking and hiking. As a certified ski instructor, he is often involved in giving ski courses in winter, which has brought him to lots of great ski destinations in the Alps and the Rocky Mountains.
