The Chair of POM welcomes Dr. Mark Grothkopp as a new Senior Researcher from January 2025. He will work as a Director for the joint industry collaboration together with the Division Production Management at the Institute of Technology Management, University St.Gallen.

Our collaborative study with LMU shows that integrating explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) into human workflows significantly enhances task performance in both manufacturing and medical settings.

On November 19, the annual POM Network Company Visit took us to Niederönz, where we explored Bystronic's cutting-edge Smart Factory.

The Network of Global Future Councils is a prominent, invitation-only interdisciplinary platform that unites around 700 top experts from business, academia, civil society, and government across 34 specialized councils. Together, they drive innovative thinking to help build a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future. GFC  members participate in two-year terms.
