Assy 5.1 project visited Hannover Messe

Last week, four members of the ASSY 5.1 project team, Alexander Albers, Laura-Marie Hagemann, Nils Renziehausen, and Jannick Fiedler, visited the Hannover Messe. This is the world’s largest fair about Industie 4.0 trends. We specifically explored new technologies, products, and practical solutions that augment manual assembly processes.

The key trends for manual assembly were cobot applications, machine vision, AI quality control, and digital twins. We also had the opportunity to test ChatBot applications and AR solutions for the workbench that specifically support workers in low volume, high variance assembly.
