POM Strategy Tour 2020 in Paris
This week, the Chair of POM went to Paris to strategize, inspire others, and get inspired. In addition to a rich cultural program, we visited the OECD, INSEAD, and a PSA factory.
At OECD, we presented current research projects in the area of smart manufacturing. In Fontainebleau, we met with the Technology and Operations Management (TOM) group of the renowned business school INSEAD. Both at OECD and INSEAD, we established new contacts and identified collaboration potentials. On the last day of the trip, we went to Poissy to tour a factory of PSA and meet with managers leading PSA’s digital transformation. We explored automotive production from steel stamping to final assembly of different Peugeot and DS models. We also enjoyed discussions with members of 'La Fabrique de l’industrie', a French think-tank for industrial development.
We had great fun, and got lots of inspiration for the next year. Stay tuned!
