During his studies, Clemens worked for several months in the Corporate Development Center at MTU Aero Engines in Munich, Germany.

Clemens holds a Master’s degree from RWTH Aachen University in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering, where he specialized in Aerospace Engineering. During a research visit at the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, he studied platform-based and value-driven product development. The research visit was supported by the IDEA League research grant. In his Master’s thesis project, he developed a modelling- and simulation-based decision support for design of additive manufactured aircraft engine components considering lifecycle implications when applying additive manufacturing as manufacturing method. His Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering - Management, Clemens attained from the Vienna University of Technology.
